Jenna Armagost

Jenna began her dance journey in Wichita at just three years old. Her passion and dedication quickly grew, leading her to spend seven formative years as a member of a local jazz and ballet company. During high school, she danced with the Kapaun Mt. Carmel dance team for three years, earning the prestigious NDA High School All-American title twice.

Jenna continued her dance career at Wichita State University, where she was a member of the Wichita State Dance Team for three years and was named a Collegiate All-American dancer for two of those years.She graduated in 2013 from WSU with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in Dance. In 2010, she teamed up with Kelcy to open the dance studio, where she now serves as the head instructor and director of the Platinum Dance Company. Three years ago she co-founded our pre-professional hip hop program, the Elite Visionary Unit which serves as the only pre-professional hip hop program in the Midwest. Miss Jenna is constantly creating, pushing imaginative boundaries and has won many individual choreography awards over the years. She is most proud of being nominated for an Industry Dance Award for “Best Choreography” in 2024 for her piece titled, “Crown” and “Choreography of the Year” in 2025 for Platinum National Dance Competition for her piece titled, “Drowning”.

Jenna also spent seven successful years as the head coach of the Andover Central Dance Team, leading the team to five state titles. Her choreography has been featured on national platforms including Beat Shazam on FOX, National All-American Miss, and the Miss Kansas Teen Organization, in addition to numerous local dance teams and programs.

Outside of the studio, Jenna is married to her college sweetheart, Kyle Armagost and is the proud mom of their son, Remington. She spends her time watching Nebraska football, being with family, traveling, cooking and watching true crime!
